8 Concerti für Cembalo Im November 1999 begann Bärenreiter mit der Herausgabe sämtlicher Concerti für Cembalo und Orchester von Johann Sebastian Bach. Nachdem die Concerti I-IV (BWV 1052-1055) bereits vorliegen, wird der Zyklus nun mit den Concerti V-VII (BWV 1056-1058) sowie der Erstausgabe des Concertos d-Moll in der Fassung Carl Philipp Emanuel Bachs (BWV 1052a) abgeschlossen. Alle acht Cembalo-konzerte werden als Klavierauszug mit separaten Stimmen angeboten. Dabei eignet sich der Klavierauszug nicht nur zur Ensembleleitung vom Solo-Cembalo aus, sondern ermöglicht auch die Ausführung mit zwei Cembali bzw. zwei Klavieren. Damit sind nun sämtliche Cembalo-Solokonzerte Bachs im Urtext der Neuen Bach-Ausgabe für die Praxis erhältlich.

8 Concertos for Harpsichord In November 1999 Bärenreiter launched its complete edition of Bach’s concertos for solo harpsichord and orchestra. Now that concertos I to IV have already been released (BWV 1052-55), the series is about to be rounded off with concertos V to VII (BWV 1056-58) and the first publication of the D minor Concerto as prepared by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (BWV 1052a). All eight concertos are presented in piano reduction with separate parts. Not only is the piano reduction suitable for conducting from the harpsichord, it also enables the works to be played on two harpsichords or pianos. All of Bach’s solo harpsichord concertos are now available for performances in the »Urtext« from the New Bach Edition.
